Bargaining Continues Toward a Contract

Home Chef and UFCW Local 1546 met again this week to continue
bargaining towards a contract for Home Chef’s Bedford Park associates.
What’s New: This week, discussions continued with the company and
union finding the common ground needed to make additional progress on
language topics. This includes a tentative agreement allowing the union to
designate up to four shop stewards for the bargaining unit.
This is good progress, and we remain hopeful of reaching an agreement
that meets employees’ needs, while ensuring the company remains strong
and adaptable for the future.

What’s Next: Bargaining resumes on April 18.
