Bargaining Turns to Economic Proposals

Home Chef and UFCW Local 1546 met again this week to continue bargaining towards a contract for Home Chef’s Bedford Park associates.

What’s New: This week, discussions turned to economic proposals. It’s expected that both bargaining committees will continue to negotiate and discuss economic proposals over the next several scheduled bargaining dates.

Bargaining is a give-and-take process, and we are committed to reaching a fair and balanced agreement that invests in market-competitive wages and provides affordable healthcare and retirement savings benefits.

What’s Next: Bargaining is scheduled to resume on May 20.
