Company and Union Bargaining Committees Reach Important Agreements on Language

The Home Chef and UFCW Local 1546 bargaining committees met again this week on Monday and Tuesday to bargain towards a contract for Home Chef’s Bedford Park associates.

What’s New: Negotiations are a process, and it can take time to reach an agreement.  So far, we have reached important tentative agreements on elements towards a contract, including:

• Grievance Procedure
• Probationary Employment Period
• Dues Deduction
• Leave of Absence
• Union Cooperation on Employer Rules and Safety and Sanitation Policies

What’s Next: The bargaining committees are scheduled to meet again April 2 and 3.
