Company’s Offer Scheduled for Vote
UFCW Local 1546 has informed the Company that they will hold a ratification vote for our Comprehensive Best Offer to Settle. This is good news!
When: Wednesday, February 5, 11 am to 5:30 pm
Where: Chicago Marriott Midway, Room: Chicago A & B,
6520 S Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60638
Your VOTE Matters
This is a significant decision, and it’s important that you participate in the ratification vote if you want to have a say in this matter. If you don’t vote, you’ll be allowing someone else to make this decision for you. Consider whether you really want to let others do that for you.
Offer Highlights
Our goal, always, is to provide our team members with a total compensation package of competitive wages, affordable healthcare, and retirement savings. Our Offer consists of the following:
- Wage Increases or Wage Investments, depending on role and classification:
- $.50/hr wage increase or wage investment at ratification with $.50/hr contractual wage increases or wage investments in year 2 and year 3 of the contract, depending on role and classification. That’s more than 6% to 8% in hourly wage increases or investments over the life of the contract.
- If the bargaining unit ratifies this Comprehensive Best Offer to Settle by February 5, 2025, members of the bargaining unit would receive a $250 (gross) ratification bonus. Eligible team members must be on the Company’s payroll as of January 22, 2025, and as of the time the bonus is paid.
- Company-sponsored healthcare and 401(k) retirement benefit plans
- Numerous tentative agreements on other terms and conditions of employment
We hope you see this Offer as a sign of our commitment to making meaningful investments in you, our Home Chef team members.
